Americans will build a terminal for the supply of liquefied gas in Ukraine

American investors plan to build an LNG terminal in Ukraine and a new transshipment terminal in the port of Yuzhny.

This was stated by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, reporting to parliament.

“One of the largest American companies that has experience in Ukraine, the Cargill company, has made a decision regarding additional investments in Ukrainian infrastructure and the construction of a terminal with transshipment plus four million tons (of grain - ed.) for a total amount of $100 million. A new terminal will be built at the Yuzhny port,” Yatsenyuk said.

In addition, he said, another American company intends to build in Ukraine a terminal for the supply of liquefied gas.

Naftogaz signed a memorandum with Frontera. This American company will begin construction of an LNG terminal. And it will begin supplying gas to Ukraine through the construction of an LNG terminal,” Yatsenyuk said.
