The American company Keurig Green Mountain in cooperation with Coca-Cola on Tuesday launches vending machines for the preparation of carbonated drinks at home, the news portal reports BuzzFeed.

In addition to classic cola, the machine will also be able to prepare other carbonated drinks from the manufacturer: for example, Sprite or Fanta.

For the preparation of beverages, buyers are encouraged to use packaging with syrup concentrate and saturated carbon dioxide.

Coca-Cola cooking machines will be sold mainly through online stores, and a limited batch of machines will go to several stores in the United States.

As the portal notes, Coca-Cola had previously kept the recipe for making carbonated drinks a secret.

According to the advertising and marketing strategy of the concern, recipes are a trade secret known only to a few employees.

Leading American radio show This American Life said that they were able to study the photos of the manuscript of the recipe, published 8 February 1979 year in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

According to journalists, the syrup for the basics of soda include: liquid extract of coca leaves, citric acid, caffeine, sugar, water, lime juice, vanilla, caramel and the secret ingredient Merchandise X7. The latter, in turn, is a mixture of essential oils and alcohol.
