American cities where the cost of living grows the fastest
Rental housing, food and other everyday expenses make life in large US cities quite expensive. Moreover, the cost of living is constantly growing, but in some cities it is growing faster than in others.
Edition GO Banking Rates analyzed the cost of living in large US cities in 50 and found out which of them experienced the biggest jumps in the cost of living from 2017 to 2018 a year.
The study examined the amount needed to pay for basic necessities such as food, rent, utilities, transportation and health care, as well as the amount that should be allocated for savings and unforeseen expenses. After that, it was calculated how the total amount of these expenses changed, starting from the prices in 2017 and 2018.
