American drones can begin observations in the sky over Ukraine
Over the next four years, the Pentagon plans to increase the number of flights of unmanned vehicles over the crisis regions of the world in order to improve intelligence gathering and the possibility of striking in conflict zones.
According to the Wall Street Journal, which refers to military sources, the Pentagon plans to expand the number of daily flights from the current 61 to 90 in the 2019 year.
In particular, additional observation is planned in the sky over Ukraine, Iraq, Syria, the South China Sea and North Africa. The new plan will expand the capabilities of the Pentagon for lethal air strikes drone.
According to the plans of the US Air Force, which now provide the majority of the missions of UAVs, will receive assistance from the army, the Special Operations Command and government contractors.
This is the first significant expansion of the controversial US drones program since 2011, due to an increase in the number of hot spots in the world.
