An American company will give you $1500 to fly first class.

When you step on the plane, the first thing that catches your attention is how immaculate first class looks. Plush seats, extra legroom and very attentive service from the crew make it feel like a very inviting seat, especially when you walk past your smaller, more cramped corner in economy class. But now you can be there too, and without any loss to your wallet. How to do this, the publication told Travel and Leisure.

Upgraded Points is a site dedicated to teaching travelers how to earn points and miles. It's giving one lucky winner $1500, which can be used to upgrade to first class, in exchange for the winner sharing their honest thoughts about whether the experience is truly worth it.

“Why exactly $1500? The average round trip domestic first class flight can cost between $800 and $1000, the company explained on its prize giveaway page. “A traveler can spend as little as $400 on a ticket if he flies from Las Vegas to Los Angeles in November, or $1400 if he flies from New York to Los Angeles during the same period.”

Specifically, the site is looking for candidates who have never flown first class before to get "fresh and unbiased feedback on the experience."

The journey must be on a U.S. domestic round trip and completed before the end of 2023. After the flight, the winner will be asked to fill out an evaluation sheet and share all the details of their experience.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and a US citizen or permanent resident to enter the competition. All potential winners must fill out the full application form, which includes questions about travel plans, airline, airport of arrival, destination, and a brief answer to the question of why they should be selected to receive $1500.

The application deadline is Friday, October 6th at 00:00 a.m. ET.
