An American TikTok user @craftedandcozy shared on the Web a non-standard way of raising a seven-year-old son.
She spoke about this in a published video.
According to the woman, she pays her son money for the completed tasks. At the end of the month, the boy pays utility bills out of his earnings. Thus, the mother is sure, the child learns to earn money, as well as to distribute it correctly.

Every day a schoolchild has a list of tasks: brush teeth, make the bed, wash dirty clothes, and the like. Payment for such work is one dollar. At the end of the month, the boy pays for utilities - this is the rent for the room - five dollars, the electricity he used - two dollars, the Internet - 2 dollars.

After paying for all the services, the guy has $ 21 left. This amount he can spend on anything. Utilities do not disappear either: the woman sends funds to a bank account that her son can use in the future.
The reactions of TikTok users to the video were different: some consider such methods radical, while others admired them:
- “Okay, but he's only 7 years old. Why not just let him be a kid and do it later when he's a teenager?"
- “Children should be children. When they are seniors, they will start paying the bills.”
