'Gift from Heaven': Americans who cleaned after the flood found an unexpected surprise
Nebraska residents Kyle Simpson and his friend Geyland Shtaufer spent the whole day cleaning up trash left over from the River Platt spill. Having finished, the friends went to their car - and on the way they found a dirty refrigerator filled with beer cans, writes Meduza.
The Americans called their discovery "a gift sent from heaven." Friends decided to reward themselves for hard work and drank a couple of cans. To their surprise, the beer turned out to be icy. Simpson and Shtaufer took some photos and told about their history on Facebook.
Through the social network about the refrigerator found its real owner - Brian Healy, who lives upriver. He immediately contacted Simpson, who promised to return his find to him. It turned out that this was not the first emergency for the refrigerator: in 2007, he survived a fire in the house.
