Amazon returns money to hoverboard buyers

Amazon's online store said it would return money to hoverboard buyers who are concerned about the possibility of ignition of this miracle device.

The electrical failure of hoverboards caused several fires throughout the United States, and in Australia, an entire house burned out. Currently, 13 hoverboard manufacturers are undergoing safety checks.

Previously, Amazon stopped selling them in response to questions about their security.

“I urge other hoverboard retailers and manufacturers to take action and issue full refunds to customers. We also expect to stop selling these gadgets until we are confident that they are safe,” Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Chairman Elliot Kaye said in a statement.

Experts believe that the reason for the frequent explosions of this “flying board” are unreliable lithium batteries and poor electronic design.

The new law, which came into force on 1 in January of 2016, prohibits persons under the age of 16 from using the hoverboard for driving on public roads. Owners of hoverboards are advised to travel on roads with a speed limit of up to 35 miles per hour (56 km / h).

The California Highway Patrol will strictly monitor the implementation of this law over the next five years, punishing violators with a fine of 250 dollars.
