The White House has released classified UFO materials: hundreds of mysterious files have been made public.

On May 8, hundreds of previously unpublished videos, photographs, and recordings related to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) and unidentified flying objects (UFOs) were released. The contents of these documents are described in Dailymail.

The Pentagon wrote that while previous administrations sought to dissuade Americans from the existence of UFOs, President Donald Trump "is focused on providing maximum transparency to the public, who can ultimately make their own judgments about the information contained in these files."

The initial release includes 162 documents, including old State Department cables, FBI documents and NASA transcripts, with the Pentagon saying additional material will be released in stages.

UFOs spotted from the Moon during the Apollo missions

Among the most striking materials were images and transcripts related to NASA's Apollo 12 and Apollo 17 missions.

One photograph taken from the surface of the Moon appears to show three unexplained dots hovering in the dark sky above the Moon.

The Apollo 17 mission transcript records the astronauts discussing mysterious objects drifting near the spacecraft during flight.

"We've got some very bright particles or fragments or something like that floating by as we're doing the maneuver right now," one of the operators told mission control.

Another replied, "There are a ton of big objects outside my window—really bright. It looks like fireworks outside Ron's window."

Apollo 11 pilot Buzz Aldrin described several unusual observations during his 1969 flight:

"The first unusual thing we saw was, I think, a day after launch, or quite close to the Moon. The object was quite large, so we aimed the monocular at it."

"Another observation developed gradually. I don't know if I saw it the first night, but I'm sure I did the second. I was trying to sleep with the lights off and noticed what I thought were small flashes inside the cabin, every few minutes," he continued. "I observed a light source that seemed quite bright, and we assumed it might be a laser."

'Huge Flying Saucer' Spotted in US

One document summarizes testimony from seven federal employees from different departments who independently reported seeing multiple UAPs in the Western United States over two days in 2023.

According to the report, some witnesses described "spheres launching other spheres" in the distance, as well as a large glowing ball hovering in place and a translucent object comparable to a "clear kite."

The FBI lab produced a graphic reconstruction based on witness statements: "an ellipsoidal, bronze-colored metallic object materializing from a bright light in the sky, 130-195 feet (40-60 meters) long, and instantly disappearing."

Gemini 7 astronauts spotted a "craft" in orbit

Gemini 7 astronaut Frank Borman reported seeing an unidentified object in space in 1965.

"We have very, very many, it looks like hundreds of small particles passing off to the left at a range of about three to four miles [about 5 kilometers]," Borman told mission control.

"It looks like some kind of craft is flying at a 90-degree angle," he added.

The FBI received a report of a supposed Nazi UFO.

One of the FBI documents included in the released trove claims that a man named Paul Peierl claimed to be a member of the German Air Force in 1944 and claimed that the Nazis created UFOs.

"During this period, he observed the aircraft described above. The craft was saucer-shaped, approximately 21 feet [6,5 meters] in diameter, radio-controlled, and equipped with several jet engines around its outer perimeter," the document states.

"He also described the outer portion as rotating around a central dome, which remained stationary. Peierl's duties included photographing the object in flight. He claimed to have preserved the negative of a photograph taken at an altitude of 7000 meters [20,000 feet].

A photocopy of the negative provided by Peyerl is posted on the last page of this report. It also includes a photograph he allegedly took 'at risk to his life,' showing the object in a hangar.

The document goes on to say: “According to Peyerl, this aircraft was designed and built by an engineer named Kuhr [name withheld], whose whereabouts are unknown to him.

He assumed that Kühr was detained by Allied forces after the end of hostilities. Peierl stated that Kühr had unsuccessfully attempted to evade conscription in Germany but was apprehended by the Gestapo.

The "eight-pointed star" rapidly crossing the sky

Eerie infrared footage captured by the US military in 2013 shows a strange object moving rapidly in the darkness, with jagged, shape-shifting "beams".

At one point, the military sensor zooms in on the image, and a mysterious object flies across the frame, seemingly leaving a glowing trail behind it.

The object made sharp maneuvers, quickly changed direction, and repeatedly disappeared from view, only to reappear a moment later.

"Super-hot" spheres pursued by American fighter jets

A heavily redacted FBI report describes a senior US intelligence official's account of a night mission in a remote mountain area near a classified government facility.

According to the document, intelligence officials, federal agents and helicopter crews were dispatched to the site after personnel repeatedly reported strange glowing "spheres" and loud booms in the mountains.

However, upon arrival, the group allegedly encountered swarms of highly maneuverable objects that appeared extremely hot on thermal imaging, despite moving in the dark.

The report says the unidentified spheres easily evaded military helicopters and then began pursuing fighter jets called in to intercept them.

At one point, the co-pilot of the lead helicopter reportedly observed one sphere split into two separate objects, after which another object suddenly "separated" from the group and sped away at high speed.

Creatures 'about four feet tall' emerging from UFOs

One of the most striking sections concerns testimonies of encounters with the supposed inhabitants of these devices.

"Several witnesses reported seeing crew members leaving the objects," the document says, describing the beings as "approximately three and a half to four feet tall [1 meter 20 centimeters], wearing what appeared to be space suits and helmets."
