Alcohol, drugs, murders: a native of Ukraine faces 378 years in prison
23-year-old native of Ukraine Vladimir Zhukovsky is accused of killing 7 motorcyclists during an accident that occurred in New Hampshire in the summer of 2019. Writes about this Fox News.
Vladimir is indicted on 23 points. If convicted, he faces up to 378 years in prison.
Vladimir Zhukovsky - a native of Ukraine, living in Springfield (Massachusetts), during the accident was under the influence of one or more drugs. He was taken into custody without bail from the moment of the accident.
Vladimir does not admit his guilt.
On Thursday, 17 of October, the court indicted seven counts of negligent homicide, seven cases of negligent homicide, driving under the influence of drugs, seven cases of manslaughter, drunk driving and inattentive driving.
Back in August, the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Administration reported that Zhukovsky’s toxicological report had a positive result for an unspecified drug that made it impossible to drive safely. In the end, he deviated, crossed the yellow center line of the highway and crashed into motorcyclists.
Zhukovsky also said that he was reaching for a drink that was in the passenger seat of the truck just before the accident. This violation was labeled “inattentive driving”.
