Sharks are a few meters away from tourists: a woman made frightening photos on a beach in South Carolina

A Tennessee tourist was standing on a 15th-floor balcony at a resort in Cherry Grove, South Carolina, when she saw an unexpected sight - a group of unsuspecting vacationers swimming just meters from sharks.

Ginger Gilmer photographed what was happening and shared photos on her page in Facebook, noting that she saw at least three sharks swimming near people, writes WPDE.

“It was an amazing sight, but scary. The people in the water were clearly unaware of what was happening,” Gilmer said.

The woman said that she received many messages from people who are unhappy that she published these photos.

“I’ll still go back to Myrtle Beach, but I won’t go into the ocean. I have huge respect for sharks. They are amazing predators and they are where God wanted them to be. But I love this beach and will definitely come back,” the woman concluded.
