Scandal in Russia: actor Mikhail Efremov offered to give the Crimean Bridge to Ukraine

Russian actor Mikhail Efremov suggested that Russia and Ukraine can be reconciled, if you give Ukraine the Crimea Bridge. He stated this during the interview with journalist Yury Dudy.

“How to reconcile with Ukraine - they need to give this bridge to them. Let the money take for travel. They will be happy and maybe Crimea will be forgiven, ”says the actor.

“It seems to me that we need to deal with Ukraine with money. If Ukraine is sent gas free of charge for 10-15 years, then it is quite possible to reach an agreement. And they will rise on this,” the actor continued his thought.

In Russia, the statement of the actor caused a strong reaction.

According to RBC, a member of the committee of the Federation Council on international affairs, Sergei Tsekov, said that the actor can be held accountable for calls to violate the integrity of the country.

“The Crimean bridge is the territory of Russia, in fact, Efremov calls for the violation of territorial integrity,” he said. To the question RBC that whether the senator plans to send a statement, Tsekov replied: “We'll see, think about it. I don't know yet. ”

State Duma deputy, former prosecutor of the Crimea Natalya Poklonskaya suggested that Ephraim should not dream of that.

Why even ask him about the Crimean Bridge? He doesn't understand this at all. Everyone is now walking around muttering: “Wow, what did Efremov say at Dudya’s!” So this is the view of a layman and a simpleton. Especially a drinking person. He exposes himself to ridicule. But such behavior must be punished. We need to take away the title of Honored Artist of Russia from him. There is no point in disgracing the country with your nonsense,” he said.

Recall the ceremony opening of the Crimean bridge May 15 passed, the next day it was opened to traffic for cars and buses.

Crimea became part of Russia on the basis of a referendum in March 2014. Ukraine considers the peninsula "temporarily occupied territory".
