Shares of high-tech US companies have experienced the worst day since 2011 of the year

Other stock indices also went negative - the S&P 500 fell to 2785,68 points (minus 3,29%), the Dow Jones industrial companies index decreased by 3,15%.

As notes Bloomberg, the decline reached record levels. So, the five-day fall of the S&P 500 was the longest since November 2016 and the victory of Donald Trump in the elections. The Dow Jones, on the other hand, last hit similar declines in February 2018.

According to Bloomberg, the reason for a significant reduction was the fear of the consequences of a trade war with China. Another factor was the increase in the yield of US Treasury bonds, which caused the withdrawal of investors' funds from the stock exchange.

The recession, albeit a smaller one, was also characteristic of shares of Russian companies on Wednesday. Index Mosbirzhi at the close of trading, he lost 1,07%, the RTS index lost 1,39%. Thus, both indexes reached the lowest level since the beginning of the month.
