Lawyers banned Republicans from using Trump's name and photo
Lawyers for the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, sent letters to the three largest Republican groups. They ask the party to stop using Trump's name and photo to raise funds for the party and other purposes. This information was confirmed by NBC News Trump's advisor.

Trump's lawyers have asked the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senate Committee to stop using the former president's name and image in appeals and fundraising goods.
Since Trump stepped down in January, three fundraising groups have referred to him repeatedly in emails asking for donations. However, Trump was reportedly upset that his name was used without his approval by groups that aided Republicans who voted to impeach him.
The cessation of action notices came days after Trump's speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

In his speech, he called for unity and also criticized a number of leading Republicans, including Rep. Liz Cheney from Wyoming and Senator Mitt Romney from Utah, as well as other lawmakers who voted to impeach and condemn him.
“Get rid of them all. The Republicans in name we are surrounded by will destroy the Republican Party and American workers,” Trump said at the time.
