Biden's administration ferries illegal immigrants from the border into the interior of the United States at night

At least five flights carrying illegal immigrants landed at Scranton and Allentown airports late last month from Texas. New York Post.

Former GOP Congressman Lou Barletta, who is running for governor of Pennsylvania, said the flights were operated overnight by the Biden administration.

Barletta said that on December 30, one flight landed at Lehigh Valley International Airport in Allentown. The rest had been dispatched to Scranton International Airport a week earlier.

Democrat MP Matt Cartwright denied the flights were clandestine, saying they were authorized by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and carried unaccompanied immigrant children.

He added that after landing in Scranton, the children were sent to their parents or approved sponsors.

But Barletta said it was impossible to know if everyone on board was underage.

Lehigh Valley Airport confirmed it was accepting charter flights from HHS — and that future flights are also scheduled.

“Consistent with FAA grant guarantees and as a federally mandated public service airport, the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority does not have the ability to discriminate against any aviation activity by denying or prohibiting aircraft from arriving at or departing from Lehigh Valley International Airport,” - said a statement from an airport representative.

Rep. Dan Meuser (Pennsylvania), whose area borders the two landing regions, is demanding answers from Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mallorcas.

“I am extremely concerned by recent reports that the federal government has brought illegal immigrants into Wilkes Barre-Scranton International Airport,” he wrote in the letter.

“As far as I understand, on Friday, December 17th, a total of 130 immigrants, 118 minors and 12 adults arrived on board the iAero charter flight, and were subsequently transported by bus from a private hangar,” he said.

In recent months, the Biden administration has already allowed to deliver planes with illegal immigrants from Texas to New York for resettlement.

As it became known, in August alone, more than a dozen charter flights with underage immigrants landed in Westchester.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration secretly sent more than 70 flights to Jacksonville, Florida over the summer, according to Gov. Ron DeSantis' office.
