'I wish everyone 36,6': Zelensky became infected with coronavirus

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has tested positive for COVID-19. This is stated in the message Office of the President of Ukraine on Facebook.

“Unfortunately, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky tested positive for coronavirus infection COVID-19. The head of state feels well and will continue to perform his duties remotely in self-isolation, the presidential office reports. “He will always have the necessary tools and communication equipment.”

Zelensky also posted a post on your Facebook page, where he told about his condition.

“There are no lucky people in the world for whom COVID-19 does not pose a threat. Despite all the quarantine measures, I also received a positive result. I have 37,5, and I wish everyone 36,6! However, I feel good. I promise to isolate myself and continue to work. Most overcome COVID-19. And I will go through this too. Everything will be fine,” the president wrote.

It is also known that the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak also contracted the coronavirus.

“At the end of the working day, I received too “positive” news: I tested positive for coronavirus, but I feel fine. A video meeting of advisers to the leaders of the Normandy format is planned for this week. This is one of my most important priorities, so I have no time to be sick at all. Although I will be in self-isolation, I plan to work as usual, without slowing down,” wrote Ermak on his Facebook page.

The head of the President's Office, his deputies and employees of the Office take PCR tests on an ongoing basis. Yulia Kuznetsova, fortunately, has already received a negative test and is working as usual in compliance with quarantine restrictions.

“We will report on the condition of the president and Office employees,” Zelensky’s Office said. — We urge citizens to comply with the quarantine regime: do not forget about masks and social distance. Coronavirus infection can end differently for each of us. The authorities will do everything possible to ensure that COVID-19 causes the least harm to society and the state.”
