In California, a big black bear wandered into a residential area
In a residential area of California, locals began to notice the bear, sometimes it was seen near the elementary school. On February 21st in the morning he was euthanized with tranquilizers, but passers-by had time to photograph him on the cameras of their mobile phones. At the same time, they tried to get as close to the bear as possible, writes Fox News.
A large black bear was spotted at North Mayflower Avenue in Monrovia at around 2:30 a.m. local time. At some point, he became interested in two dogs barking at him outside the gate, but then he lost interest in them.

“Hey geniuses, get away from the bear. You can zoom in using the camera. Don't go near him. Don't stand in front of him. The bear is most likely confused and doesn't want all the fuss. If the clubfoot feels threatened, it can attack and even kill,” wrote one Twitter user.
Earlier, on February 21, Tim Daily, a spokeswoman for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, said workers would first try to drive the bear back to where it came from.
