Widow's 'healing' journey to Hawaii turns into tragedy
A woman from Kentucky died in Hawaii during a “healing leave” after the death of her husband.
37-year-old Jamie Baker from Louisville fell off a cliff while visiting a popular tourist spot on the island of Maui called “Chutes and Ladders”.
After the fall, she was taken by air to the area along a nearby highway, where emergency teams attempted a CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) attempt, but she was declared dead at the scene.
