In New Jersey, a drug driver crashed into a gas station: three dead

On Tuesday morning, a tragic incident occurred in Wayne, New Jersey: the driver of the car, being under the influence of narcotic substances, crashed into a gas station and killed three people, including 17-year-old.

The accident occurred around 8: 45 in the morning, said the district prosecutor's office. The car first hooked the fence, and then crashed into a gas station, writes NBC New York. The dead were a gas station employee, as well as a father and teenage son who drove up to the gas station in their car.

Sources said that the accident on the highway number 23 in Wayne occurred as a result of a blow of such strength that the car in which there were a man and a teenager, completely demolished the roof. Both were declared dead at the scene.

Authorities said the driver was given Narcan (also known as naloxone), an antidote for overdoses of some drugs, at the scene. The driver survived. His identity, as well as the identities of the victims, have not yet been revealed.

Note that in the comments on the original source’s website, subscribers call saving the driver’s life a mistake and “a pointless waste of Narcan,” and also express the hope that “karma will take care of him.”

The investigation continues. The Passaic District Prosecutor’s Office announced that additional information would be published as it was received.
