A programmer set up $ 2 million lottery winnings for his loved ones
In Iowa, Eddie Tipton, a former multi-state lottery support manager, pleaded guilty to fraud.
He confessed that he had manipulated computer software developed by him and provided winning numbers to his brother and other relatives and acquaintances.
Eddie Tipton, his brother Tommy Tipton, and Texas businessman Robert Rhodes will pay 2,2 the million dollars they have stolen. Colorado, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Kansas suffered from the scam actions.
Iowa state prosecutors are asked to give Eddie Tipton 25 years in prison. Tommy Tipton also pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 75 prison days.
