Israel: Palestinians carried out June terrorist attack in the name of Islamic State
Palestinian brothers Muhammad and Khalid al-Mahamre, who committed a massacre at a shopping complex in Tel Aviv on June 8, 2016, acted in the name of the Islamic State. This is stated in the indictment.
The two accused were dressed like religious Jews when opened fire from automatic weapons by cafe visitors in the popular tourist complex Sarona. The attackers killed four Israelis, five more were injured.
The Israeli General Security Service "Shin Bet" issued a statement stating that the terrorists were inspired by ISIL, but did not receive any help or instructions from this organization.
The leaders of ISIL have repeatedly made threats against Israel, but Israeli security services believe that the immediate threat comes from Palestinian terrorist groups.
Counsel for the accused claims that they do not belong to any terrorist structure.
ForumDaily told that one of the victims of the June terrorist attack miraculously survived after two shots to the head. Asaf Bar, reportedly, remained conscious and was able to wait for the ambulance to arrive.
