Humanities are harder than techies to get a job

According to employers, humanitarians have such qualities necessary for successful work, such as the ability to easily get in touch, communicate with different people, work in a team, adapt to changing circumstances.

Often, the humanities even gain from technical experts in areas such as professional communication and negotiation, the ability to convey information, imaginative and creative thinking, as well as the ability to quickly retrain in an adjacent specialty. They quickly master written English, make it easier to form a team, analyze large amounts of information and are often communication intermediaries between management and specialists.

And from the point of view of professional competition, the employer will rather take to himself a person whose eyes are burning than the one who will work through force.

You need to love yourself, believe in yourself, be ready to work hard, remember your vocation and try to find a use for it in a new environment. In 99,9% this is possible, if you do not rush to extremes and look for compromises between your desires and the professional needs that exist in society at the moment.

It is better to unlearn the 2-3 of the year and get associate degree, than to spend time on bachelor or PHD

This myth has grown out of the nursing profession - in fact, in the US, associates with associate degrees receive almost as much as their more “educated” colleagues. But! Secondary education has its own ceiling, and further career, especially in the scientific, educational and managerial field, is open only to people with a complete higher education.
