I was going to debunk this myth for a long time. I will say this - in the US there are a lot of things, but not everything that I need. I still buy some things in Russia. The last time, to my horror, I had to pay extra for my second luggage space even, writes Karina Kudinova in her Instagram blog.

I tried to collect everything in the list:

Medications

In Russia, I can safely buy some things that are not sold here without a prescription. For example, burns ointment and migraine tablets. Well, what is not here at all is an ointment for eczema and tsitramon.

Apparel

Stylish things of young designers - in the USA they are not to be found, and if they are to be found, then you must sell a kidney. Here in this photo I’m wearing a divine coat and a no less divine bag of Russian brands. They will not go half-planets, unlike the mass market, which is really cheaper in the US.

Paint

I have a lot of watercolors of different brands, but nothing better than ours, Leningrad, have not yet invented. Yes, and our oil is also great, and most importantly - at times cheaper.

Panties and tights

Laugh, laugh. It is clear that in the United States there is both. But there are no such familiar stores as Calzedonia, Tezenis, Intimissimi ... well, you understand. I'm not even talking about stores that specialize in tights and stockings.

Books

Whether in the US paper is expensive, or I don’t understand something, but books are very expensive, and the quality is often disappointing. Of course, I read a lot in electronic form, but sometimes I want to hold a live book in my hands. Especially our classics.

Toothbrushes Rocks

I love stylish brushes, and my brush must be black. I do not know what the race. There is no such brand here, and something a little bit similar too. All American brushes are white with these acid rubber inserts. Therefore, I always buy for a year right away in Russia.

Film for camera

A question of habit, the one I use, is not for sale here. And the one that is sold is much more expensive.

Sponges

I took care of it for the final chord. Conventional sponges for washing dishes. In the US, some strange sponges, friends ... they do not foam and that's it. As if some kind of rubber. Therefore, yes, I also spend the strategic reserves of sponges across the border.
