A 5-year-old boy from Chicago wounded in a shootout twice in a year and a half
5-year-old Kavan Collins from Chicago, Illinois, who was hit in the face in 2016, while walking down the street, was hurt again by shots, this time he accidentally shot himself in the arm.
Now the child is in the hospital, doctors assess his condition as satisfactory, writes Fox News.
The police installs the gun in the hands of the boy. Interrogations of persons who may be relevant to the incident are underway. One man was arrested, information about suspicions and charges has not yet been made public.
In June 2016, Collins walked in a block in the southern part of Chicago with his mother, brother and family friend when a stray bullet hit his face. He was badly wounded, but recovered.
In addition, 17 December in Chicago killed an 15-year-old guy, shooting him in the head. Police assume that the teenager was killed by mistake, confusing him with a member of one of the gangs who are fighting among themselves in Chicago. At the same time, law enforcement officers established that the victim was not related to gangs.
