“They say the police have detained several people,” said Lyubov’s sister Svetlana, adding that ten days after her death, the family has been unable to obtain detailed information about what happened to the Russian woman.

“We felt that something might go wrong, we didn’t want her to go there,” Svetlana said, adding that the girl regularly sent money to her family.

Yaroslav Levin, a diplomat at the Russian embassy in Bahrain, said: “We know that the body of a young woman was found near the hotel. But it is too early to say what happened. ”

The woman was from the remote village of Vereshchagino in the Perm region in the Urals.

Svetlana said that Lyubov’s friend, another Russian woman living in Bahrain, contacted her.

“This young woman explained that Lyubov was pushed out of the hotel window,” said the sister of the deceased.

“I was very shocked. I called the Russian consulate, but they didn't say anything specific. I still don’t know what led to her death,” Svetlana noted.

According to her: “Love was killed on June 5. She was pushed from the 6 floor. ”

“I don't know who did this. The investigation is ongoing, but nothing significant has been told to me. I’m sure it wasn’t suicide, she just couldn’t do it,” Svetlana added, noting that, according to her information, “the police detained several people.”

The woman said that her sister did not work in Bahrain and was completely dependent on her boyfriend, but according to her data, they broke up. Despite this, she sent money to Russia every month for her family.

The sister said that she could not afford to repatriate the body of Lyubov and was trying to raise money.

According to her social media page, Love has been visiting Bahrain since 18 years.
