Where Millionaires Live: The 20 Richest Counties in the USA
It turns out that the richest counties in the United States are outside of Washington, DC.

DailyMail.com, citing U.S. Census Bureau data, reports that nine of the 20 richest counties are suburbs of the capital city of Virginia and Maryland.
In contrast, four of the 20 richest counties are located in California near Silicon Valley, according to a website.
The two wealthiest counties, Loudoun County and Falls Church City in Virginia, are outside Washington's borders. Their median household income is $140 and $382, respectively.
Meanwhile, Santa Clara counties and San Mateo, California counties, which are counties in Silicon Valley, have an average household income of $ 125 and $ 933, respectively.
