15 best cities to visit in the USA
Experienced travelers know that no matter where you go, sometimes the most amazing opportunities and adventures await you in your own country, and sometimes even in the next yard. Therefore, as part of the annual World's Best Awards from Travel + Leasure the publication has compiled a list of the best cities to visit in the United States.
Each year, the publication asks readers to rate their travel experiences around the world—to share their opinions on the best cities, islands, cruise ships, resorts, airlines and more. This time, readers rated US cities based on their attractions, culture, cuisine, friendliness, shopping and overall cost of visiting.
This is a terrific experience! If you want to spend a romantic weekend near the house or go on a long family holiday full of adventures, at least one city from this list will suit you.
For example, city number 15—Washington, DC—has amazing culture, history, fantastic food, and an incredible amount of free museums. There's no better place to see art and historical artifacts without breaking the bank. And Honolulu, ranked 10th, offers stunning white sand beaches, the glamor of Waikiki and plenty of adventure, from snorkeling and helicopter rides to hiking with unrivaled views. At No. 7, Nashville is home to architecture, galleries, restaurants, and spicy cuisine, plus live music and rooftop bars.
