15 cities in the US, where most of all fans of marijuana

Due to constant discussions about the need to legalize marijuana in the US, it sometimes seems that soft drugs are widespread throughout the country. Indeed, in many states, marijuana is legalized for medical purposes. However, there are several states where marijuana will most likely never be legalized, whether for recreational or medical purposes.

According to polls Gallup, the number of adult Americans who smoke marijuana over the last 3 of the year has grown from 7% in 2013 to 13% in 2016. After the organization identified the regions where the use of light drugs was the highest.

The list of the largest cities in the regions where the concentration of marijuana lovers is greatest is as follows.

15. Boston, Massachusetts

Percentage of marijuana users: 13,12%

Massachusetts is one of the 27 states where medical use of marijuana is permitted. The high percentage of cannabis use is also greatly influenced by the number of students living in the city.

14. Bangor, Maine

Percentage of marijuana users: 13,25%

Bangui is the most recognizable city in several Maine regions that ranked SAMHSA.

13. Portland, Oregon
