Jewish organizations in the United States announced a march for Israel. Its goal is to demonstrate the solidarity of Jewish communities in the United States with the Jewish state, demand the immediate release of hostages and condemn the rise of anti-Semitism.

The march, scheduled for November 14, will take place on the National Mall in Washington, DC. Access to the event will be open to the general public.

The march will be an opportunity for all Americans, regardless of background or religion, to unite in solidarity with the people of Israel, demonstrate their commitment to America's most important ally in the Middle East, condemn the growing trend of anti-Semitic violence and persecution of Jews, and make an unequivocal demand for unconditional release. “The ruthless Hamas terrorists carried out the deadliest attack on Israel in its 75 years, killing the most Jews in one day since the Holocaust,” said Eric D. Fingerhut, President and CEO Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA). “Israel must eliminate the terrorist threat on its border and restore the security of its people.”

“Americans rightly supported Israel at this critical moment because Americans understand that Israel's fight against Hamas is no different from America's fight against al-Qaeda and ISIS. As American patriots, we will gather on the National Mall to let the world know that America stands with the people of Israel in their time of need, America demands the release of the hostages, and America categorically rejects anti-Semitism and hatred in all its forms. This is the moment when we all must stand up against terror and protect what terrorists seek to destroy,” Fingerhut added.
