11 stars who refused to speak at Trump's inauguration

The team of President-elect Donald Trump hoped that a number of world stars would take part in his inauguration, who gladly took part in events organized by Trump-businessman, but Trump's president’s oath was less interesting for them because of the billionaire.

2. Celine Dion

This French-Canadian star has performed repeatedly in Las Vegas at the casino of Trump friend Steve Wynn, who promised her presence at the inauguration ceremony, but Dion has no plans to travel to Washington on that day - she is busy preparing a concert at Caesar's Palace.

3. Andrea Bocelli

The famous Italian tenor initially agreed to speak at the inauguration ceremony of 20 in January, but then changed his mind. Trump is a fan of Bocelli and invited him to perform at the inauguration after visiting one of the concerts. Having agreed, the singer began to receive negative feedback from his other fans and decided to abandon the performance.

This duo DJ also refused to speak in Washington.

5. Garth brooks

The famous country singer refused to perform at Trump's inauguration, although in 2016 he and his wife, performer Trisha Yearwood, sang at the Christmas tree lighting ceremony for the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.

6-9. Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Aretha Franklin

These four superstars were even offered ambassadorial posts and large fees to lure them to the inauguration, but even this did not help. At the moment, the Trump team denies that these performers were offered diplomatic posts.

10. David foster

There were rumors that the legendary pianist would organize the inaugural concert, but he said that he “politely declined” the offer, and the rumors were completely unfounded.

11. KISS

The group’s refusal was quite unexpected, as its frontman repeatedly stated that the stars “whine” too much because of Trump's victory, and they do it, in his opinion, in vain.

However, the group decided not to speak at the inauguration, citing a tour of Europe.
