11 days was considered missing: a man from Texas was found alive in the Grand Canyon
According to representatives of the Grand Canyon National Park, almost two weeks after the man from Texas was declared missing, he was found alive. Writes about it NBC News.

58-year-old Martin Edward O'Connor from La Porta, Texas, was evacuated from the interior of the Grand Canyon by helicopter of the National Park Service at about 10:00 on Thursday, January 2, the day after tourists reported that saw him on the New Hans Trail trail.
The New Hans Trail Trail is considered one of the most difficult established trails in the southern part of the canyon.
O'Connor was reported missing on December 22 and was last seen at the Yavapai Lodge in Grand Canyon Village.
Grand Canyon National Park spokeswoman Lily Daniels said the man was discovered when his strength was running out. How O'Connor was trapped, no one knows.

“The rescue team was amazed at how well he was doing,” Daniels said.
O'Connor was found approximately three miles (4,82 km) from the New Hans Trail leading to the river, and is estimated to be at an altitude of about 4000 feet (1 m).
According to Daniels, travelers who spotted the man reported this late in the evening on Wednesday, January 1, but because of the darkness, the helicopter could only be sent the next morning.
It is not known whether O'Connor was there all the time since the loss, the temperature in the area where he was found reached 20 degrees Fahrenheit (-6,6 Celsius) at night.
"We're thrilled to be able to reunite him with his family," Daniels said. "It's a great ending to this story."
