Tornado Series in the South of the USA: at least 14 dead
A series of tornadoes in the south of the United States on Christmas Eve caused serious damage to human lives. 14 is now known to be the victims.
The brunt of the elements fell on the state of Mississippi, where seven people died and many were seriously injured. State Governor Phil Bryant has declared a state of emergency.
Six more people died in Tennessee. Among them is a seven-year-old boy who was in a car that was thrown and overturned by the wind.
In Indiana and Arkansas, a gale wind tore trees from the roots, demolished roofs and demolished power lines. Thousands of people were left without light.
In Arkansas, an 18-year-old girl died when a tree fell on her house, collapsing the wall of her bedroom. One-year-old child was blocked in the same house, but rescuers got him out of the rubble.
Meteorologists believe that the reason for such strong tornadoes was the unusually warm weather for December almost throughout the US.

In total, as specified in the US National Weather Service, at least 20 tornadoes or tornadoes were recorded in various states.
The threat of a tornado, according to authorities, has passed, but the showers led to small floods and chaos on the roads in the states of Georgia, Alabama, as well as in North and South Carolina.
