10 things you can be proud of if you live in Brooklyn
The historical community of Brooklyn organized an exhibition dedicated to the 100 anniversary of the Chamber of Commerce in this area, in which everyone can also get acquainted with the popular goods of our time that were created in Brooklyn.
The exhibition is held in the building Brooklyn Historical Society on 128 Pierrepont street until the end of the year. A dozen of the best things that Brooklyn can be proud of have collected edition 6SqFt.
Eberhard Faber pencils
One of the largest American pencil manufacturers, Eberhard Faber, had a factory in Brooklyn. John Eberhard Faber, an immigrant from Bavaria, whose family at that time made pencils in Europe for about a hundred years, founded one of the first pencil factories in the USA in 1860. After a disastrous fire in his office in Manhattan, the plant moved to Greenpoint in Brooklyn in 1872.
Cracker jack

Virginia Dare was the name of the first English child born in Virginia Territory in 1587, and co.
