10 advantages of life in America

Emigration at first prevents you from enjoying life, you have to fuss and get settled. But fortunately, the transition usually goes pretty quickly, the year through 3-4 is getting more or less settled, and even in these years you enjoy just the process of everyday life, writes user TozheOlga in a blog post Newspaper.ru.

In the very structure of everyday life, much depends on the country where you live, on the sum of the pros and cons. And there are advantages everywhere - both in Russia and in America.

And here are the advantages of America:

1. With any income, including 40 thousand a year, you can rent a decent, comfortable, rather big housing.

2. You can drop everything, move to another coast and build a new life, without much straining at the same time.

Many Russian immigrants live in New York, swear, spit, but sit. What is the point?

If you don't like the big city, move to the small one. If you want to pick mushrooms, you move to Vermont.

3. With a decent education, it is usually possible to find a job, not always exactly the way you want, but there are many options. Yes, if non-American education, then a large salary will not be immediately given. But you will find work, and often quite in their specialty. And if the education is American, and even in the sought-after area ...

4. There is no age discrimination, no one is looking for an accountant with 25-year experience not older than 35 years.

5. If you speak English fluently, then the Russian accent does not matter. There are many of them here, the main thing is that they understand you, and you understand them.

6. Even if a career does not go, if you are discriminated against, do not like, do not regret, you can sit quietly in your place, get a small salary, and at the same time have no problems with housing or medicine (insurance from work) or with a machine nor with the local ecology.

7. There are a lot of Russians in America, that there is a communication environment everywhere and everywhere.

8. Children usually arrange themselves, they do not need to help with money and apartments (although it would be good to help pay for tuition, which is usually possible).

9. But if you have a head and outstanding ability, you can achieve great professional success. And not retraining in the house manager, continuing to do what you like. From this you can get a pleasant feeling of real success.

Or, if success is still not great enough for complete happiness, then at least the feeling that you are using your head for the purpose that you do not hammer a nail with a microscope.

In America, there are amazing places, amazing nature, which is well guarded, where there is no garbage under your feet, where you can easily (or relatively easily) get there, where everything is conveniently organized, where there is no drunk and bullies, and you meet nice, ready, if necessary, help people

If you live not in Brighton, but in normal America, then there is always a place to go for the weekend to rest, and it won't be long to go, and the pleasure will be great.

So personally for me: if success is pleasure from the days lived, then my life in America is very successful. I love Russia very much, I lived there a very happy youth.

But for me there are more advantages in America than in Russia, and the disadvantages in America, oddly enough, are not as serious as in Russia. I’d just say that I didn’t make any career in America, I’m sitting on a salary of thousands in 80, which for some reason is quite enough for me, including going out for mushrooms in the neighborhood, and for culture in Europe. Holidays are not enough, just 3 weeks ...
