Trump ordered to ban flights of Boeing 737 MAX in the US

US President Donald Trump ordered to ban flights of Boeing 737 MAX 8 and MAX 9 aircraft in the United States. According to him, all airlines and pilots have already been notified of this order.

A video of the president’s speech on this subject was published in his microblog Twitter.

“The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is preparing to issue a statement soon regarding new information and evidence we have received from the crash site and several other data sources... An order will be issued prohibiting all flights using the 737 MAX 8 and 737 MAX 9 and other aircraft associated with this line,” Trump said.

He stressed that he had held talks with many aviation experts, including FAA representatives, before making this decision.

According to Trump, any aircraft of this model, which was in the air in the United States at the time of its press conference, will be removed from use after landing at the destination airport.

The president noted that the airlines supported this decision, since “the safety of people is our main priority”.

“Boeing is a great company and they are working hard right now. I hope that they will soon provide us with answers to questions about these disasters. But until then, this model of aircraft will not fly,” the president said, adding that an FAA statement would follow his press conference shortly.
