Christmas tour of New York: the most beautiful places of the city

In New York, the main Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center was lit, and the holiday atmosphere - now officially - filled the city. Traditionally, parks, shops, entertainment and cultural centers arrange incredibly beautiful decorations and illumination.

1. Times Square

Probably the most desirable and bright place in the world to celebrate Christmas and New Year. Annually collects thousands of tourists. Be prepared for a lot of people, but the spectacle is worth it.

2. Columbus circle

From Times Square heading northwest. The building of a business center with shops and restaurants on the Columbus Circle traditionally has one of the most stylish decorations for the holidays. It’s worth skating here if only for the incredible view that opens from the ice rink. However, if you don’t like skating, you can just watch from the sidelines. Just choose a higher point for the most memorable experience.

5. Rockefeller Center

Go back to Midtown. At the corner of 47 and Fifth Avenue, the view opens, which you have seen many times in films. The main tree of New York. Magic lights. Be sure to take in the rental skates and ride right under the branches of the Christmas fir.

6. Radio City Music Hall

Around the corner from Rockefeller Center is another fabulous place. Radio City Music Hall decorated with a huge spruce tree right on the building. And on the other side of the street there are giant Christmas tree decorations and garlands. By the way, despite the fact that the weather in New York is not yet snowy at all, before the Christmas performances in the concert hall there is a snow machine working outside - the artificial snow looks quite convincing and instantly transports you to a fairy tale.

7. Christmas Village in Bryn Park

We go down a little further along 6th Avenue. Here, on the corner of 42nd Street, another piece of the fairy tale awaits you. The Bryant Park lawn turns into an ice skating rink during the winter. And around it there are many shops with souvenirs. A walk through this park will definitely put you in a romantic mood.
