The girl persuaded her boyfriend to kill her mother, forcing her to pretend to be terminally ill

Mississouri former boyfriend Gypsy Rose Blanchard 16 November was found guilty of the murder of her mother, which he committed at the request of the girl.

Nicholas Godejon was convicted of first-degree murder, which he committed in June 2015 of the year, stabbed with Dee Blanchard with a knife.

No one disputed the fact that Godejon was the murderer, but his lawyers claimed that he did this because of Gypsy’s manipulations and asked to soften the charge to a second-degree murder. They motivated it by the fact that a man suffers from a form of autism and could not plan a murder, the experts also confirmed this fact in court.

But prosecutors were able to insist on their accusation, and Godejon was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.

During the testimony of 15 on November, Gypsy admitted that it was she who had invented the plan to kill her mother, because, according to her, this was the only way to get rid of the bullying she endured.

In 2016, Gypsy pleaded guilty to second degree murder, she is now serving 10 years in prison.

She told the court that two weeks before the planned murder of her mother, she began to doubt and almost changed her mind. But after a few days she quarreled with her mother, decided that Dee Dee should die, and asked her then-boyfriend Godegeon to come from Wisconsin to Missouri to kill a woman.

In court, she confirmed that it was she who persuaded a man to kill her mother.

Text messages between Gypsy and Godejohn showed that the couple had a violent relationship, which eventually resulted in the murder of the girl's mother.

Using petting appeals to each other, the couple discussed their new life after Dee Dee's death, and also planned to have a baby.

Experts say Gypsy was a victim of her mother's delegated Munchausen syndrome, a rare form of mental disorder in which a caregiver—in this case, Gypsy's mother—exaggerates or deliberately induces a child's painful symptoms for attention and sympathy. They want their children to appear sick and vulnerable so that they can care for them as best they can.

Dee Dee began to overprotect Gypsy and claim that she was ill, soon after the birth of the girl, and continued to do so until she was killed. At that time, the Gypsy was 23 of the year.

Dee Dee convinced her friends, family and others that her daughter was a mortally ill teenager with mental development of an 7-year-old child, according to her, the girl suffered from muscular dystrophy, leukemia and other ailments.

According to Gypsy, she first believed in the mother and was sure that she was suffering from cancer and other incurable diseases. At the same time, Dee Dee periodically beat her daughter.

“I was more afraid of her than of anything else in my life,” Gypsy admitted.

Officials only learned about the abuse of the mother after her murder. Her body was found in the family home in Springfield.

A few days later, police arrested Gypsy and Godejon at the house of a man in Wisconsin.
