A bus carrying actors from the humorous “Diesel Show” got into an accident near Kiev. Actress Marina Poplavskaya died, two more actors were hospitalized, writes Columnist.

October 20 in 06: 43 on the Zhytomyr highway bus with actors flew into the truck. Mortal accident occurred in the Kiev region near the village of Mila.

In the hospital were two actors - Yana Glushchenko and Yegor Krutologov. Victims were taken to a private clinic.

A video from the scene appeared online. The author of the video, head of dtp.kiev.ua Vladislav Antonov, said that the actress was sitting in the front seat of a Neoplan bus, which collided with a truck. The impact actually tore Poplavskaya into pieces; she had no chance to survive.

“There were 14 passengers on the bus. One woman died. Her body has been sent to the morgue. Four more passengers on the bus received injuries of varying severity. They were taken to the hospital. An investigative team, employees of the Kiev region police investigation department, and doctors are working on the spot,” the press service of the Kyiv region police said in a statement.

Bus driver detained. Criminal proceedings were instituted due to a violation of traffic safety rules, which resulted in the death of the victim.

The second participant in the accident was a truck with the Nova Poshta logo. Her driver said he heard a sudden impact and then ran out into the street. There he saw a mutilated bus and the body of the deceased.

Let us remember that Marianna Poplavskaya, who became known as Marina, was born in 1972 in the city of Novograd (Zhitomir region). Actress of the programs “Diesel Show”, “For Three”, “DIZEL Morning”, singer, popular presenter, editor of the Ukrainian KVN association. She was the captain of the KVN team “Girls from Zhitomir”.
